Abu Dhabi GP: Verstappen seeks record-extending triumph

Just a mere five days after securing victory in Las Vegas, the 26-year-old Max Verstappen is gearing up for his final Red Bull appearance this season at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The Formula 1 circus, fatigued and contending with jet lag due to a 12-hour time difference switch after four consecutive races in the Americas, is ready for the season's conclusion.

Verstappen's triumph on the neon-lit streets of 'Sin City' marked his 18th win in 21 races this season, bringing his career total to 53 and tying him with four-time champion Sebastian Vettel. Only Michael Schumacher with 91 wins and Lewis Hamilton with 103 stand ahead in the record books.

Red Bull's one-two finish in Las Vegas, with Sergio Perez securing third, not only solidified their drivers' championship win but also clinched the constructors' title by a staggering 400-point margin. This double victory hasn't been achieved since 2015.
