Parma seized the initiative in the 24th minute when Matteo Cancellieri capitalized on a defensive slip by Theo Hernandez. Emanuele Valeri’s cross found Cancellieri, who cut inside and delivered a precise low shot into the far corner, giving the visitors a 1-0 lead.
Milan struggled offensively in the early stages but found a lifeline seven minutes before halftime. A push by Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki on Strahinja Pavlovic during a corner resulted in a penalty, which Christian Pulisic converted with composure, drilling his effort low into the corner.
Both sides upped the intensity after the break. Suzuki denied a backheel attempt by Alvaro Morata and made a stunning fingertip save on a low strike from Reijnders. Meanwhile, Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan kept the hosts in contention with a key save against Valentin Mihaila.
Parma regained the lead in the 80th minute following a misplaced pass from Ismael Bennacer. After Maignan blocked the initial effort from Drissa Camara, Enrico Del Prato pounced on the rebound to make it 2-1, putting Parma on the brink of a shocking win.
Despite their frustrations, Milan mounted a sensational comeback in added time. Reijnders latched onto a perfectly weighted pass from Yunus Musah, beating the offside trap and calmly slotting the ball past Suzuki to level the score.
Just three minutes later, Chukwueze sealed the victory in chaotic fashion. Pavlovic's header ricocheted off Chukwueze’s thigh and crossed the line, leaving Suzuki helpless and securing Milan’s three points in dramatic style.
