Adidas to partner with Audi F1 team in multi-year deal

Adidas will become the official apparel partner of the Audi Formula One team from next year in a multi-year agreement, the German sportswear giant and Audi confirmed on Wednesday.
Swiss-based Sauber, currently competing in Formula One, will transition into the factory Audi outfit in 2026 when the championship ushers in a new engine era and welcomes Cadillac as the 11th team on the grid.
"We are very proud to partner with the future Audi F1 team and support their debut into the highest level of competition for the sport," Adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden said.
Audi and Adidas — who already supply kits to Mercedes in Formula One — will launch a co-branded line of apparel, footwear, and accessories ahead of the 2026 season.
"Our partnership in Formula 1 goes far beyond the pursuit of innovation and peak performance: it combines the strengths and visions of two progressive brands," Gernot Doellner, chairman of the Volkswagen-owned Audi, added.
Sauber currently sit eighth in the 10-team standings as they prepare for the upcoming transition.
