Anthony Joshua teases a 'mega-card' featuring Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury, and Oleksandr Usyk.

According to Joshua, a fight between former world heavyweight boxing champions Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder could be part of a'mega card' in Saudi Arabia with an undisputed title clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.

Contracts have been signed for Britain's Fury and Ukraine's Usyk to compete for their combined titles in Riyadh on an undetermined date.

"They want to put Usyk-Fury, Joshua-Wilder on the same night. That might not happen until April", Joshua told reporters ahead of the United States Formula One Grand Prix in Austin, Texas.

"When Fury gets through Ngannou, it is going to be late October, early November, so I doubt he will now prepare for Usyk and fight in December, it's too short," said the 34-year-old Briton.

WBC champion Fury is scheduled to fight former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou on Oct. 28 in Saudi Arabia under professional boxing rules.

Usyk, like Fury, is unbeaten and holds the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO belts.

"The next window (after Fury-Usyk) will probably be in March-April, so that's probably when the undisputed fight will potentially happen," Joshua, who was in Austin after being announced as an investor in the Renault-owned Alpine team last week, said.

"Then obviously what we are being told is they want to make it a mega card and they like the sound of Joshua versus Wilder on the same card."

Wilder, 38, held the WBC heavyweight title from 2015 to 2020.

Joshua, who has twice been defeated by Usyk, has stated that his next fight will take place in December, most likely in London, against a 'non-championship' opponent yet to be determined. There is no set date for him to face Wilder.

"Some fighters want to maximise their revenue," said the Briton. "It is like, 'where can we get the most money for the fight?' And they want to go to Saudi Arabia so they are waiting for the undisputed fight."
