Antoine Griezmann becomes Atletico Madrid's all-time top goalscorer

This incredible milestone was reached when he found the back of the net against Real Madrid during the semi-final of the Spanish Super Cup on Wednesday.
Atletico's French forward showcased his skills as he skillfully turned and unleashed a powerful shot into the far corner, leveling the score at 2-2 during an intense derby clash in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
In December, Griezmann demonstrated his goal-scoring prowess by scoring two goals against Getafe in La Liga, equalling the late Luis Aragones as the club's all-time leading scorer with an impressive tally of 173 strikes.
Having been reacquired by Atletico from Barcelona in 2022, Griezmann has made a total of 368 appearances for the club across two stints. He initially joined Atletico from Real Sociedad in 2014.
After a stint at Barcelona, where he struggled to find his form, Griezmann returned to Atletico on loan in 2021.
Under the guidance of Diego Simeone, he rediscovered his peak performance, prompting Atletico to secure his permanent return for a mere 20 million euros.
This season, Griezmann has been in fine form, netting 17 goals in 27 matches for Atletico.
