Argentina 3-1 Costa Rica: Di Maria stars as La Albiceleste come back to win

Argentina staged a remarkable comeback in their international friendly against Costa Rica, with Angel Di Maria, Alexis Mac Allister, and Lautaro Martinez leading the charge to secure a 3-1 victory for the world champions in Los Angeles.

The South American team, without their injured captain Lionel Messi, concluded their two-game tour of the United States with a well-deserved win at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Lionel Scaloni's squad, victorious against El Salvador in Philadelphia, controlled the first half and created several promising chances.

Despite this, Costa Rica managed to score first with a goal from Alvaro Zamora after a swift counter-attack.

Argentina equalized early in the second half with a stunning goal from Di Maria.

The team then took the lead with a goal from Mac Allister after a corner kick.

Martinez sealed the victory with a goal in the 77th minute, securing the win for Argentina.
