Argentina rebound to beat France in Buenos Aires and level two-Test series

Eduardo Bello and fly-half Santiago Carreras also scored for the home team, along with a penalty try, bouncing back from a surprising 28-13 loss in the first Test.

France had hoped for their first series victory in Argentina since 1998 but were unable to contain the home team, despite tries from scrumhalf Baptiste Serin, center Emilien Gailleton, and wing Theo Attissogbe.

Although France started brightly and took the lead with Serin's try, Argentina gradually gained momentum throughout the first half, converting pressure into points with their forward strength.

Bello powered over the try line from close range, and they were awarded a penalty try after their scrum pushed France back over their goal line, showcasing their dominance.

At halftime, Argentina led 21-10 after a well-executed move from an attacking line-out resulted in Carreras beating two defenders to score.

France returned with renewed vigor in the second half, with Gailleton's try from his own charge-down, a penalty, and a strong comeback, bringing them within one point of Argentina.

Ten minutes into the second half, France took the lead back when Delguy's misjudgment allowed Attissogbe to score after a grubber kick into the 22.

However, after prop Georges-Henri Colombe received a yellow card, Argentina quickly regained the lead as Gallo powered his way over the try-line twice.

The tour will be remembered in France for the wrong reasons as it comes to a close with a defeat. Lock Hugo Auradou, 20, and back row Oscar Jegou, 21, are facing charges of aggravated sexual assault following an incident after last week's first test win in Mendoza.

Their legal representative has stated that they deny the allegations. Additionally, experienced back Melvyn Jaminet was dismissed from the tour prior to the test after making a racist remark on social media.
