Arsenal 5-0 Chelsea: Gunners demolish Blues to go three points clear at top

Arsenal secured a resounding victory over Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night, extending their lead at the top of the Premier League table by three points ahead of Liverpool.

After a morale-boosting win against Wolves in their previous match, Arsenal entered the game with confidence and determination to defeat their London rivals.

The Gunners wasted no time in making their mark, with Declan Rice's impressive run setting up Leandro Trossard for an early goal. Despite Chelsea's efforts to equalize,

Arsenal remained dominant throughout the match. Ben White extended their lead in the second half, followed by Martin Odegaard assisting Kai Havertz for the third goal.

It was a well-deserved victory for Mikel Arteta's team, showcasing their strength and skill on the pitch.

The goal effectively ended any chances of a surprising comeback from the away team, and Havertz secured his second goal of the match with 25 minutes left, slotting the ball into the bottom corner following a great setup by Bukayo Saka.

Mauricio Pochettino's team had to focus on minimizing the damage from that moment onwards, and White later scored Arsenal's fifth goal with a fortunate shot that found the back of the net.

This marked the turning point for Arteta to give some of his key players a well-deserved break before the upcoming North London derby on Sunday, as Arsenal smoothly navigated through the final moments to secure a vital three points in their quest for the title.
