ATP roundup: Martinez stuns Ruud to advance to Estoril Open final

Pedro Martinez of Spain defeated Norway's No. 1 seed Casper Ruud on Saturday to advance to the final of the Millennium Estoril Open in Portugal.
Martinez defeated defending champion Ruud 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 in three hours and seven minutes. Ruud rallied from 5-1 down in the deciding set, even overcoming three match points in an epic 16-minute game at 5-2, but Martinez, ranked 77th and having never beaten a top player, eventually won the match.
Martinez will face No. 2 seed Hubert Hurkacz of Poland, who advanced to his 10th ATP final by defeating Cristian Garin of Chile 6-3, 3-6, 6-3.
Hurkacz defeated Garin in just under two hours, breaking his serve twice in the final set.
Grand Prix Hassan II
Matteo Berrettini recorded six aces while defeating Argentina's Mariano Navone 6-7 (4), 6-3, 6-2 to advance to the Grand Prix Hassan II final in Marrakech, Morocco.
Berrettini needed two hours and 42 minutes to reach his first final since Naples in October 2022. The Italian will face defending champion Roberto Carballes Baena, who defeated Russia's Pavel Kotov 6-4, 6-2 in the semifinals.
Baena has won nine consecutive matches in Marrakech. The Spaniard saved six of seven break points and converted four of six on Kotov's service.
