ATP roundup: Top seed Alcaraz crashes out of Argentina Open

On Saturday in the semifinals of the IEB+ Argentina Open in Buenos Aires, third-seeded Chilean Nicolas Jarry defeated No. 1 seed Carlos Alcaraz of Spain 7-6(2), 6-3.
Jarry rallied from a 6-5 deficit in the first set to force a tiebreaker, where he raced ahead to a 6-1 lead that proved too much for Alcaraz to handle. Jarry then won the final three games of the second set, completing the sweep.
Alcaraz was the Argentina Open's defending champion. He had no aces on Saturday, whereas Jarry had seven, and the latter saved three of four break points.
Jarry's win secured his spot in the final, where he will face Argentina's wild card Facundo Diaz Acosta. Diaz Acosta defeated countryman Federico Coria 6-2, 6-3 in Saturday's other semifinal. Coria was playing under a special exemption.
ABN AMRO Open
Top-seeded Italian Jannik Sinner advanced to the final in Rotterdam, Netherlands, after defeating Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor 6-2, 6-4, in straight sets.
Although Griekspoor was playing in front of a friendly crowd, Sinner dominated the match, saving all six break points and picking up seven aces.
Sinner will face Australia's fifth seed Alex de Minaur in the final, who defeated Bulgaria's sixth seed Grigor Dimitrov 6-4, 6-3.
Delray Beach Open
No. 3 seed Tommy Paul cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 victory over No. 2 seed Frances Tiafoe in an all-American semifinal in Florida.
Paul racked up eight aces and converted four of four break points to defeat Tiafoe, who took a 1-0 lead in the second set before dropping five straight games to effectively seal the outcome.
Taylor Fritz, the top seed, defeated Marcos Giron 7-6 (8), 6-2, sending another American to the final. Fritz dominated in aces, 10-1, while Giron had more double faults (5-1) and unforced errors (10-3). Giron faced an uphill battle, needing to save 11 of 15 break points.
