Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo ruled out for three weeks with adductor injury

Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo is set to miss approximately three weeks after sustaining a right adductor injury during Thursday’s 3-0 victory over Osasuna, the LaLiga club confirmed on Friday.

Olmo, who had earlier converted a penalty for his seventh league goal of the season, was forced off the pitch in the 28th minute as Barcelona extended their lead over second-placed Real Madrid to three points.

The 26-year-old is now expected to miss a crucial stretch of matches, including Barcelona’s Champions League quarter-final clash against Borussia Dortmund and the second leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final against Atletico Madrid.
