The prestigious honor recognizes the forward who best demonstrates excellence in the defensive aspects of the game, as determined by the Professional Hockey Writers' Association.

Barkov’s consistent dominance on both ends of the ice continues to set him apart. This third Selke Trophy places him among an elite group of forwards with multiple wins, further cementing his legacy as one of the NHL's premier two-way players.
