Bayern Munich Extends Winning Streak with 2-1 Victory Against Copenhagen

Bayern Munich secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Copenhagen in the Champions League on Tuesday, extending their remarkable winning streak in group-stage games.

The match saw Bayern Munich facing a determined Copenhagen side that defended compactly and counterattacked effectively. Lukas Lerager opened the scoring for Copenhagen in the 56th minute, putting the Danish team in the lead.

However, Bayern Munich quickly responded, with Jamal Musiala leveling the score just 11 minutes later.

The winning goal came late in the game, in the 83rd minute, courtesy of Mathys Tel. Thomas Müller played a crucial role, holding off defenders and providing a pass to the 18-year-old French forward, who blasted the ball into the net.

With this victory, Bayern Munich extended their impressive winning streak in Champions League group-stage games to 15 matches, a competition record. Additionally, the team remains unbeaten in the group stage, with a streak spanning 36 games since 2017.

Bayern Munich had a nervy moment in added time when a potential own goal threatened their lead, but goalkeeper Sven Ulreich made a crucial save to secure the win.
