Bayern Munich Sign Joao Palhinha, Michael Olise

Joao Palhinha's move to Bayern Munich from Fulham was valued at 51 million euros, according to reports from The Athletic. The Portuguese midfielder, who joined Fulham in 2022 and made 79 appearances across all competitions, has also represented Portugal's senior national team 31 times.

Palhinha expressed his joy at joining Bayern, saying, "This is one of the happiest days of my life. I'm now playing for one of the top clubs in Europe." Despite a failed transfer attempt in 2023, Palhinha's determination to join Bayern finally materialized.

Max Eberl, Bayern's board member for sport, praised Palhinha's qualities, emphasizing the player's desire to join the club.

Olise Joins Bayern from Crystal Palace

Bayern Munich secured the services of Michael Olise for a reported fee of 60 million euros, with additional bonuses. The London-born winger, who scored 10 goals and provided six assists in 19 appearances last season despite injury challenges, expressed his determination to make an impact at his new club.

"I am determined to showcase my abilities at this level and contribute towards winning as many titles as possible with our team in the upcoming years," Olise stated.

Olise, who attracted interest from clubs like Chelsea and Newcastle United, ultimately decided to join Bayern under the guidance of new coach Vincent Kompany. Although born in England, Olise has represented the France Under-21 national team in seven matches and is part of the France squad for the Paris Olympics.
