Bellingham On Target Again As Real Madrid Edge Past Napoli

Jude Bellingham played a pivotal role in Real Madrid's 3-2 victory over Napoli in the Champions League on Tuesday. Bellingham's efforts during an eight-minute stretch of the first half led to two goals for Madrid.
First, Bellingham intercepted a pass from Napoli captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo and set up Vinicius Junior for an equalizing goal. Then, Bellingham made an extraordinary solo run through Napoli's defense from near midfield and scored a goal that bore resemblance to the legendary Diego Maradona's style of play. The stadium where the match took place is named after Maradona, and Bellingham's goal was reminiscent of Maradona's famous solo goals.
Madrid secured the victory with what was charged as an own goal by Napoli goalkeeper Alex Meret. This goal resulted from a powerful strike by Federico Valverde that deflected off Di Lorenzo, hit the crossbar, and then bounced off Meret into the net.
Napoli had taken an early lead with a header from Leo Ostigard, who leaped over Dani Carvajal. Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski scored a controversial penalty in the second half to level the score at 2-2.
With this win, Real Madrid leads Group C with six points. Napoli and Braga have three points each, while Union Berlin is at the bottom of the group with zero points.
In another match in Group C, Braga defeated Union Berlin 3-2 earlier in the day, making the group standings even more competitive.
