Brandon Graham announces retirement after 15 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham has officially announced his retirement from the NFL after a distinguished 15-year career, during which he secured two Super Bowl championships.

At 36 years of age, Graham has played 206 games with the Eagles, setting a franchise record. His impressive statistics include 76.5 sacks, ranking third in the team's history, along with 487 total tackles, 126 tackles for loss, 153 quarterback hits, and 22 forced fumbles.

During an emotional press conference, Graham addressed the fanbase, stating: "Throughout the challenges, injuries, and pivotal moments, I had to continuously prove myself. You never allowed me to become complacent. You held me accountable and kept that motivation alive.

"You inspired me to improve, and when the moment arrived, we celebrated together—twice. This city thrives on hard work, resilience, and unparalleled passion. You bring that same energy to every game, every moment, and every season. Your loyalty, enthusiasm, and steadfast support mean everything to me and to this organization."

"Brandon Graham exemplifies all the qualities one desires in a Philadelphia Eagle," remarked team owner Jeffrey Lurie in a statement.

".. It was the way he played the game and the way he carried himself that earned him the love and respect of his coaches, teammates and fans."

His final appearance with the Eagles occurred during Super Bowl LVIII, where he secured his second championship by leading the team to a 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. The defensive end recorded one tackle in the match, solidifying his legacy as one of the franchise's all-time greats.
