Brazil's Fluminense beat Egyptian club Al Ahly 2-0 to reach Club World Cup final

Monday's Club World Cup semi-final at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah saw Brazilian team Fluminense defeat Egypt's Al Ahly 2-0 thanks to two wonderful goals from Jhon Arias and John Kennedy in the second half.
The final match in Jeddah on Friday will feature the Copa Libertadores champions against the winners of Manchester City's semi-final against Japan's Urawa Reds.
It was an intense game, with Fluminense dominating possession but struggling to defend against Al Ahly's counterattacks. Arias, the winger from Colombia, was a constant threat on the right side, hitting the post twice in the first half.
Despite their speed and numerous opportunities, Al Ahly failed to convert their chances. Fluminense's goalkeeper, Fabio, made crucial saves to deny Kahraba and Tau.
In the second half, Fluminense regained control, but Fabio once again made a critical save from a Tau counter.
Finally, Fluminense broke the deadlock with a penalty scored by Arias in the 71st minute. Marcelo, the former Real Madrid full-back, revealed that his nutmeg move was spontaneous and not premeditated.
Al Ahly had a chance to equalize, but Tau missed a clear opportunity. As Al Ahly pushed forward, Fluminense capitalized on their vulnerability, and substitute Kennedy sealed the victory with a goal in the 89th minute with a strike to finish off a counterattack.
