Carlo Ancelotti pleased with Kylian Mbappe's display in win against Getafe

Real Madrid's head coach Carlo Ancelotti expressed his satisfaction with Kylian Mbappe's performance following the team's 2-0 victory over Getafe in LaLiga at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday.
Despite missing several opportunities in the second half, the French forward managed to score, contributing significantly to the match.
Since joining Real Madrid from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer in June, the French captain has emerged as one of the club's leading scorers this season, now tied with Vinicius Jr. at eight goals in the league after his first-half effort.
Mbappe's previous outing saw him struggle during Real's 2-0 defeat to Liverpool in the Champions League, where he failed to make an impact and missed a penalty. However, he rebounded with a dynamic performance against Getafe, marking his 10th goal of the season across all competitions.
"He was active, dangerous, and scored an important goal that helped us manage the game effectively. His activity level is exactly what we expect from him," Ancelotti remarked to the media.
The coach also noted the fans' understanding of the team's situation, highlighting their support for Mbappe following the match at Anfield, which he deemed appropriate.
In the match against Getafe, Jude Bellingham successfully converted a penalty, and Mbappe added another goal before halftime, propelling the reigning champions closer to LaLiga leaders Barcelona.
With this victory, Real Madrid ascended to second place in the standings, accumulating 33 points from 14 matches, just one point behind Barcelona, who have played an additional game.
"Yes, it was a relief for everyone, as it was a spectacular goal executed brilliantly," Ancelotti stated when asked about the significance of Mbappe's goal against Getafe. "Moreover, his overall performance was very commendable," he added.
The team is currently facing an injury crisis, with defenders David Alaba, Eder Militao, and Dani Carvajal sidelined due to anterior cruciate ligament injuries, while forward Vinicius Jr. and midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni are also out due to muscle and ankle issues, respectively.
Midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has been added to the list of injured players following a hamstring injury sustained during the defeat to Liverpool.
In the match against Getafe, Bellingham was substituted at halftime; however, Ancelotti expressed confidence that the England midfielder would recover within a few days.
"Despite the numerous challenges we are facing due to injuries, we are continuing to fight and persevere," Ancelotti remarked.
"We have resumed playing with focus, determination, and a positive attitude, which reassures me and instills confidence. Gradually, we will address these issues, but for now, we remain committed to our efforts."
