Champions PSG end season with comfortable victory, Brest secure Champions League qualification

Champions Paris St. Germain won 2-0 at Metz on Sunday, while Brest won 3-0 to secure third place in the Champions League, and Lille finished fourth after being held 2-2 by Nice, who scored a stoppage-time equaliser.
The capital club finished the season with 76 points, nine more than AS Monaco in second place. Metz narrowly avoided relegation by finishing 16th, just ahead of Lorient. Lorient will be relegated to Ligue 2 alongside bottom-placed Clermont Foot.
PSG rested several key players, including Kylian Mbappe, ahead of Saturday's French Cup final against Olympique Lyonnais.
They got off to a great start, with Carlos Soler breaking the deadlock with a shot from outside the box after seven minutes, and Lee Kang-in doubling the lead five minutes later.
Metz had chances late in the game and came close on several occasions, and they will now play in the relegation playoffs.
Brest's Kenny Lala scored a late goal after Madi Camara and Jordan Amavi's efforts to secure victory at Toulouse, and the club finished third with 61 points.
Lille dropped to fourth place with 59 points and will have to go through the Champions League third qualifying round after Nice's Jordan Lotomba equalised in stoppage time to secure a 2-2 draw for the fifth-placed side, who are already guaranteed a Europa League spot.
Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette scored twice to lead his side to a 2-1 victory over Strasbourg, moving them up to sixth and qualifying for the Europa League ahead of Lens, who drew 2-2 at home to Montpellier and will play in the Conference League.
Monaco, with their Champions League return secured, thrashed visitors Nantes 4-0, as Wissam Ben Yedder, Thilo Kehrer, and Mohamed Camara, with a penalty, scored in the first half, and Eliesse Ben Seghir completed the rout after the break.
