Chelsea 3-0 Luton: Chelsea's first win under Pochettino is inspired by Sterling's double.

Chelsea beat Luton Town 3-0 at Stamford Bridge, with Raheem Sterling scoring twice and assisting on another for Nicolas Jackson, giving Mauricio Pochettino his first win as manager.

Sterling, who had an earlier effort saved by Thomas Kaminski, put Chelsea ahead with a moment of magic in the 17th minute.

Sterling beat three Luton players on a weaving run that began wide before finding the bottom corner with a left-footed shot.

Chelsea dominated for long stretches of the game, with Moises Caicedo, making his first start for the club, looking assured in central midfield.

Indeed, it was his wide pass that found Malo Gusto, and the right-back'slowcross was clinically converted by Sterling in the 68th minute to make it 2-0.

Sterling has scored 14 goals and provided four assists in his last 17 Premier League appearances against promoted teams.

Seven minutes later, his brilliant first-time cross took a slight deflection and was swept in by Jackson for his first Premier League goal.

Chelsea's first victory in nine home league matches moves them up to eighth place with four points, while Luton are bottom with no points from their first two games.
