Chelsea to receive brand-new UEFA Award at Champions League Draw after completing historic trophy collection

Chelsea will be presented with a special new award during this evening’s Champions League League Phase draw in Monaco, after making history by becoming the first club to win every major UEFA competition.

Enzo Maresca’s side sealed the UEFA Europa Conference League title in May with a 4-1 victory over Spanish side Real Betis, completing the European set. The Blues had already lifted the Champions League, Europa League, and the now-defunct Cup Winners’ Cup, making them the only club to achieve this rare feat.

UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin will personally hand the new award to Chelsea ahead of the draw, with co-owner Todd Boehly expected to be in attendance at the Grimaldi Forum.

This is not the first special recognition for the Premier League giants in 2025. Earlier this year, Chelsea were also commended for their Club World Cup success and were given exclusive champions badges to wear on their shirts for four years, until the next edition of the tournament in 2029.

Chelsea’s Historic European Honours

  • Champions League: 2012 (vs Bayern Munich), 2021 (vs Manchester City)
  • Europa League: 2013 (vs Benfica), 2019 (vs Arsenal)
  • Cup Winners’ Cup: 1998 (vs Stuttgart)
  • Conference League: 2025 (vs Real Betis)

Chelsea’s triumphs are etched in European history, from Didier Drogba’s last-gasp equaliser and penalty heroics in Munich, to Kai Havertz’s winner against Manchester City in Porto. Now, their most recent Conference League title ensures their name stands alone in UEFA record books.

Champions League Draw Details

The Champions League League Phase draw begins today at 5pm UK time in Monaco. A total of 36 teams are divided into four pots of nine, based on UEFA coefficient rankings. Each club will face two opponents from every pot, resulting in eight matches in the new format.

Clubs from the same country cannot be drawn against one another, and no side can face more than two teams from the same nation.

Chelsea will discover their opponents shortly after receiving their exclusive new UEFA award, marking yet another milestone in the club’s decorated history.
