Chelsea's Noni Madueke apologizes for social media post after destroying Wolves

Chelsea winger Noni Madueke, aged 22, extended his apologies to Wolverhampton Wanderers following an inappropriate social media post made on Sunday, which came in the wake of his impressive 15-minute hat-trick during a 6-2 victory that exacerbated the home team's misfortunes.
Prior to the Premier League match, Madueke had shared a disparaging remark regarding the Midlands city, which he later removed; however, the repercussions of his comment had already taken effect.
Throughout the match, the home supporters jeered at him each time he touched the ball, yet this did not hinder his performance, as he netted three goals shortly after the second half commenced, propelling Chelsea ahead after a thrilling first half that concluded at 2-2.
"I would like to express my apologies to anyone I may have offended," Madueke stated, being one of nine players in Enzo Maresca's starting lineup who are 23 years old or younger.
"It was simply a human error, an unfortunate incident. It was not intended to be shared on my social media. I am certain that Wolverhampton is a lovely city, and I regret my comments. I anticipated the boos, but one must perform under pressure."
Chelsea secured their first league points of the season in a remarkable manner, with Cole Palmer playing a pivotal role in a dynamic offensive display, providing assists for all of Madueke's goals.
Madueke remarked that Italian manager Maresca has already made a significant impact at Stamford Bridge since his arrival from Leicester City, where he successfully led the team back to the Premier League last season.
"Everyone witnessed his achievements at Leicester last year; he is meticulous about the details," Madueke noted. "Even in our initial match against Manchester City, we displayed some promising patterns of play, but we were unable to capitalize on them.
"Today is a wonderful day, and I am pleased that he has secured his first Premier League victory with Chelsea."
Maresca, tasked with developing a squad of approximately 40 players into a competitive team, expressed his gratitude for the abundance of versatile athletes at his disposal.
"We must enhance our precision. While our intentions are commendable, greater accuracy is essential for us to execute our style of play effectively," he remarked. "I consider myself fortunate to have numerous adaptable players capable of performing in various positions."
