Cleveland Browns yet to decide on starting quarterback for Ravens matchup

The Cleveland Browns have not yet determined who will be the starting quarterback for their season finale against the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday, as stated by head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Both Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Bailey Zappe are set to be available for the game, while Jameis Winston continues his recovery from a shoulder injury.

"There is certainly a possibility that I could utilize both Bailey and Dorian in this matchup," Stefanski remarked. "Jameis is still addressing that shoulder issue, so I anticipate him serving as the emergency quarterback. Additionally, there is the possibility of playing both players."

This season, the Browns have utilized four quarterbacks following the season-ending Achilles injury to starter Deshaun Watson on October 20th.

Thompson-Robinson has recorded 427 passing yards along with six interceptions and no touchdowns this season, while Zappe has yet to take the field. Since 1999, the Browns have started a league-high 39 different quarterbacks, and could reach 40 if Zappe is given the start.

With a record of 3-13, the Browns' playoff aspirations were extinguished early in the season. Nevertheless, two of their three victories were against division rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens.

This season marks the 13th losing campaign for the Browns in the last 15 years. The last instance in which the team won three games or fewer was in 2017, when they finished with a record of 0-16.
