Coventry boss Robins proud Despite agonising FA Cup defeat

Coventry City's hopes of reaching the FA Cup final were dashed due to the narrow width of a toenail, but manager Mark Robins expressed his pride in his players despite their loss in a penalty shootout.
Robins, a former player who won the Cup with Manchester United in 1990, witnessed his team stage an incredible comeback against United on Sunday.
Trailing 3-0 after 71 minutes, Coventry fought back with goals from Ellis Simms, Callum O'Hare, and a late penalty by Haji Wright.
In extra time, Coventry dominated the game and seemed to secure a remarkable victory when Victor Torp scored from close range just 20 seconds before the end.
However, the joy of the traveling Coventry fans quickly turned to disappointment as Torp's goal was disallowed by VAR due to Wright being deemed slightly offside before delivering the ball.
Ultimately, Manchester United emerged victorious with a 4-2 penalty shootout win, denying Coventry a second FA Cup final appearance.
Despite the outcome, Coventry's performance felt like a moral victory, especially considering their strong comeback after a lackluster start.
Robins expressed his disappointment but also his pride, highlighting that his team came incredibly close to reaching the final.
He believed they deserved to progress and emphasized the frustration of being denied by such a marginal offside decision.
