Diallo strike sinks as Manchester United beat Liverpool in FA Cup epic

Manchester United emerged victorious in a dramatic FA Cup quarter-final clash, prevailing 4-3 in extra time with Amad Diallo netting the decisive goal in the 121st minute. The Red Devils advance to the final four at Wembley in their pursuit of silverware, while also putting an end to Liverpool's hopes of a quadruple.
It was a frenzied beginning in an electric atmosphere at Old Trafford. In less than five minutes, Caoimhin Kelleher was summoned into action with a diving save to thwart Alejandro Garnacho, while Mohammed Salah narrowly missed a bicycle kick volley at the opposite end.
Ten minutes into the match, Marcus Rashford set up Garnacho for another attempt, resulting in a save from Kelleher. However, this time the Irish goalkeeper could only deflect the ball to Scott McTominay, who headed it in from close range.
The pace of the game slowed down afterwards, but the away team believed they had equalized when Wataru Endo neatly finished Salah's pass into the bottom corner. Nevertheless, VAR upheld the linesman's offside decision.
Just as Manchester United thought they would enter halftime in the lead, the game took a dramatic turn right before the break.
In the 44th minute, Jarell Quansah embarked on a powerful run down the right flank, then passed to Darwin Nunez who assisted Alexis MacAllister in finding the back of the net.
Liverpool continued to press forward relentlessly, and in the dying moments of the match, Nunez's strike was deflected by Andre Onana, allowing Salah to capitalize on the rebound and slot the ball home off the post.
Liverpool maintained their attacking momentum after the break, with Nunez breezing past Raphael Varane and nearly catching Onana off guard at the near post, only for the Red Devils' goalkeeper to make a crucial save.
The match evolved into a fast-paced exchange of attacks, with the home crowd convinced that Andy Robertson had handled the ball in the box. Nunez continued to trouble Varane and Onana, forcing the latter to make another save.
As the game progressed, Manchester United struggled to make an impact, but with just three minutes left in regular time, Antony managed to create space in the box and fire a shot past Kelleher, sending Old Trafford into a frenzy and pushing the match into extra time.
