Djokovic struck by bottle after Rome Masters victory

Novak Djokovic (36) collapsed in pain after being hit on the head by a bottle following his victory in the Rome Masters' second round.
It's unclear whether the hard plastic or metal bottle was thrown at Djokovic on purpose or by accident.
Security personnel removed the Serb from the arena, and no information was available about the world number one's condition at the time.
A video of the incident quickly spread on social media. Djokovic was signing autographs following his 6-3, 6-1 victory over Frenchman Corentin Moutet (25) when he was struck by a bottle from a height.
He immediately held his head, went to his knees, and finally fell to the ground, dropping the pen he was using to sign autographs. Numerous security personnel and assistants rushed to Djokovic to shield and protect him.
