Emile Smith Rowe signs a five - year deal with Fulham

The financial details of the transfer, which will see Smith Rowe remain at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2029, with an option for an additional year, have not been disclosed.

However, the BBC has estimated that the total value of Smith Rowe's transfer from north to southwest London could reach £27 million, with an additional £7 million in performance-related bonuses, culminating in a record transfer fee of £34 million for Fulham.

Smith Rowe joined Arsenal's youth academy at the age of 10 and progressed through the ranks to make 115 senior appearances for the club across all competitions.

Last season, he struggled to secure regular playing time as Arsenal finished as runners-up to Premier League champions Manchester City, but he expressed his satisfaction with the move to Fulham.

"I'm finally here, so I'm really happy for me and my family - it's a good moment," he stated in an interview with FFCtv.

"I'm really excited; I just wanted to get here as quickly as possible to start working with my teammates."

Fulham concluded the previous season in 13th place in the 20-team Premier League, but Smith Rowe remarked, "After listening to the project, speaking with the manager (Marco Silva), and observing the players already at the club, I believe this is an exciting opportunity for me and certainly the right step for my career moving forward."

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta commended Smith Rowe's commitment, stating on the Gunners' website: "I am saddened by Emile's departure, but I am thrilled for him to embrace this new opportunity at a pivotal moment in his career, where he needs to be starting matches and playing consistently."
