Empoli 0-3 AC Milan: Rossoneri cruise past hosts for comfortable victory

Milan arrived at Stadio Carlo Castellani in high spirits, having secured four victories out of their last five competitive matches (with one draw). This positive momentum was evident in the Rossoneri's strong start against a struggling Empoli team.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek, a former Chelsea midfielder, wasted no time in breaking the deadlock, scoring in the 11th minute after being set up by Rafael Leao.
The dominant Milan side had a chance to extend their lead when Youssef Maleh was penalized for a handball, resulting in a penalty. Olivier Giroud, an experienced player, confidently converted the spot-kick, scoring his ninth goal of the season.
At halftime, with a two-goal advantage, Milan looked to maintain their control over the game. Empoli attempted to mount a comeback, but Milan remained determined to secure a third goal that would seal their victory.
Loftus-Cheek, fueled by his earlier goal, came close to scoring again with a long-range effort that narrowly missed the target. Christian Pulisic also had a chance with a header, but it was saved by the Empoli goalkeeper.
Although Milan had opportunities to increase their lead, they had to stay focused defensively. Goalkeeper Mike Maignan made a crucial save, and Theo Hernandez deflected a rebound from Francesco Caputo's shot.
In the 88th minute, Milan sealed their victory when Chaka Traore scored his first Serie A goal. Despite the win, Milan remains in third place, while Empoli finds themselves two points away from safety after failing to win any of their last seven matches.
