Enzo Maresca delighted with youngsters' attitude in Barrow win

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca expressed his satisfaction following his team's impressive victory.
The Blues have demonstrated excellent form over the past week, securing a 3-0 win against West Ham and a commanding 5-0 triumph over Barrow.
The latter match was part of the Carabao Cup's third round, featuring a contest against a lower division opponent.
Christopher Nkunku notably scored a hat-trick, with additional goals from Joao Felix and Pedro Neto.
“I am very pleased with both the performance and the outcome,” Maresca remarked after the match.
“We implemented several changes, yet the team's philosophy remained consistent, which is one of our primary objectives. Regardless of who takes the field, it is crucial that the team's identity is preserved.
“I always approach these types of matches with caution, as they can be deceptive. Football is replete with such encounters. Underestimating the opponent can lead to conceding opportunities and goals; however, I believe our performance tonight was commendable, demonstrating our seriousness.
“Prior to the match, I urged the players to exhibit our seriousness, even as the youngest squad in the Premier League. While winning was paramount, it was equally important to convey that we may be young, but we are determined, serious, and ready to compete.”
