Enzo Maresca Named Premier League Manager of the Month for September

Chelsea's head coach, Enzo Maresca, has been awarded the Premier League Manager of the Month for September, following a remarkable run of results that saw the Blues remain undefeated throughout the month.

Maresca, who was up against stiff competition from four other nominees, guided Chelsea through a successful period in which they dropped only two points, beginning with a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace. From there, the team went on to secure three consecutive victories, culminating in an impressive month.

The Blues maintained their strong away form with a win at Bournemouth, followed by a dominant 3-0 victory over West Ham United at the London Stadium. Maresca’s men then capped off September with a thrilling 4-2 win in a six-goal encounter against Brighton & Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge.

In total, Chelsea collected 10 points from a possible 12, scoring nine goals in four matches. Maresca's leadership and tactical prowess were recognized by the public, who voted him the Premier League’s standout manager for September.

He joins Chelsea teammate Cole Palmer, who was also named Premier League Player of the Month for September, making it a double celebration for the club.
