Frosinone 0-5 Inter Milan: Nerazzurri return to winning ways with humbling of relegation-threatened hosts

Inter Milan defeated relegation-threatened Frosinone 5-0 in Serie A on Friday, giving Simone Inzaghi's side their largest win margin this season.

Inter, who were defeated 1-0 by second-from-bottom Sassuolo on Saturday, maintained their chances of breaking the club record of 97 points set in 2006-07.

Currently on 92 points, they will host Lazio on May 19 before finishing the season at Hellas Verona.

In the 19th minute, Inter's Davide Frattesi scored with his knee after a Marcus Thuram pass deflected off one of Frosinone's defenders.

Marko Arnautovic doubled Inter's lead at the hour mark with a low first-time finish into the middle of the goal, and Tajon Buchanan made it 3-0 on his Inter debut, before substitute Lautaro Martinez and Thuram sealed the victory.

Frosinone are 17th with 32 points, two points clear of the relegation zone, while 18th-placed Udinese travel to Lecce on Monday.
