Getafe 0-3 Atletico Madrid: Griezmann hat-trick seals Champions League spot for Los Rojiblancos

Antoine Griezmann scored a hat-trick in Atletico Madrid's 3-0 LaLiga victory over Getafe on Wednesday, securing Champions League qualification.

Diego Simeone's team are fourth with 73 points, 11 points ahead of fifth-placed Athletic Bilbao, who lost 2-1 to Celta Vigo with two games remaining.

The French forward scored in the 27th minute from Rodrigo De Paul's through ball, and they repeated the trick before halftime with Griezmann flicking a pinpoint pass past keeper David Soria.

Griezmann completed his hat-trick in the 51st minute with a fine finish under Soria's legs off a Samuel Lino pass into the box.

Griezmann scored his second hat-trick of the season, following three goals in a 3-0 victory over Celta Vigo back in October.
