Goran Ivanisevic and Elena Rybakina part ways following her Australian Open exit

Goran Ivanisevic, has announced the conclusion of his brief tenure as coach for former Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina, 25, following her exit in the fourth round of the Australian Open.
Rybakina engaged Ivanisevic, who concluded a five-year coaching period with Novak Djokovic last year, for the 2025 season last November after parting ways with her long-time coach, Stefano Vukov, just days prior to the US Open.
"After our trial period that concluded with the Australian Open, I wish Elena and her team the best of luck in their future endeavors," stated Ivanisevic, the 2001 Wimbledon champion, on Instagram on Tuesday.
Earlier this month, Rybakina reinstated Vukov to her team, but the WTA subsequently announced his provisional suspension due to a potential breach of conduct, preventing him from obtaining credentials for its tournaments during the investigation.
Vukov, who played a pivotal role in Rybakina's victory at the All England Club in 2022, has denied any allegations of misconduct, asserting to The Athletic that he has "never abused anyone" following the initial report of his suspension.
Rybakina has also expressed that Vukov has not mistreated her.
After her defeat to Madison Keys with scores of 6-3, 1-6, 6-3 on Monday, Rybakina indicated uncertainty regarding the future of her collaboration with Ivanisevic.
"Well, we still need to talk, of course," Rybakina remarked. "We just tried the pre-season and a couple of tournaments. It was a process of getting accustomed to each other."
