Hafeez slams technology after Australia defeat

On day four at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Rizwan (35) and Agha Salman (50) formed a significant partnership of 57 runs, setting a challenging target of 317 runs for Pakistan. However, their partnership was broken by Pat Cummins, who managed to separate the pair, leaving Pakistan at 219/6.
Cummins' delivery brushed against Rizwan's glove before reaching wicketkeeper Alex Carey, but Australia's appeal was initially rejected by the on-field umpire.
Nevertheless, the third umpire intervened and overturned the decision after a thorough review that involved analyzing the incident from various angles. This process took several minutes to reach a final verdict.
Following Rizwan's dismissal, Pakistan quickly lost their remaining four wickets, allowing Australia to secure the victory and take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-test series.
Expressing his frustration, Hafeez, a Pakistani player, stated that while cricket is played based on the fundamental principles of the game, technology sometimes introduces decisions that are difficult for humans to comprehend. Rizwan himself, known for his honesty, claimed that he did not even feel the ball touching his gloves.
Hafeez further emphasized that there should be undeniable evidence to overturn an umpire's decision, which was lacking in this case. He criticized the impact of technology on the game, suggesting that it is tarnishing the beauty of cricket.
The third and final test of the series is scheduled to take place at the Sydney Cricket Ground on January 3rd.
