India dominate Cricket World Cup team of the tournament

The International Cricket Council (ICC) unveiled its World Cup team of the tournament, a roster that prominently featured players from both finalists, India and champions Australia. The selection, announced on Monday, comprised six talents from the Indian squad and two from the victorious Australian team.

Leading the pack was Virat Kohli, the tournament's top run-scorer and recipient of the player of the tournament accolade. Joining him in the esteemed lineup were skipper Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, and the tournament's highest wicket-taker, Mohammed Shami.

Australia's contributions were recognized with the inclusion of all-rounder Glenn Maxwell and spinner Adam Zampa, pivotal players who played crucial roles in Australia's historic sixth World Cup triumph, sealed with a six-wicket victory on Sunday.
