Ireland defeat Scotland to win back-to-back Six Nations titles

Ireland won back-to-back Six Nations titles with a 17-13 victory over Scotland at Aviva Stadium.
Dan Sheehan and Andrew Porter both scored for Andy Farrell's side, which recovered from last week's defeat by England to win their sixth tournament title.
Despite a pair of Finn Russell penalties, Scotland were victims of their own demise, with Sheehan capitalising on George Turner's overthrown lineout for a converted try to give the Irish a half-time lead.
The hosts were dominant at the start, spending long stretches deep inside Scottish territory.
Calvin Nash and Robbie Henshaw came close to extending Ireland's lead, but the TMO ruled they were both held up at the line.
However, with a quarter of an hour remaining, they scored the game-winning try when Porter went over after a prolonged period of pressure.
Huw Jones scored a wonderful individual try three minutes from time to give Scotland hope, but Ireland held on for the championship-clinching victory.
Although they will be disappointed not to have won back-to-back Grand Slams, Ireland have at least secured consecutive titles.
Following a closely contested first half, the hosts dominated proceedings after the break and would have been well ahead of Scotland if not for a couple of close calls.
The Irish completed 152 carries and gained 861 metres compared to their opponents (93 and 587 metres), while the Scots' discipline let them down, conceding 13 penalties to the hosts' four.
Ireland also maintained their recent dominance in this fixture, having now won ten consecutive games over Scotland, who missed out on their first Triple Crown since 1990.
