Israel Adesanya Responds to Alex Pereira's Call-Out: "Let it gooooo"

In the world of mixed martial arts (MMA), rivalries and call-outs are commonplace, adding drama and anticipation to future matchups. Alex Pereira, the UFC's two-division champion in middleweight and light heavyweight, recently called out his archrival, Israel Adesanya. However, Adesanya, known for his nonchalant demeanor, responded succinctly with a six-word reaction.

Pereira, who achieved the rare feat of holding titles in two weight classes in both kickboxing and MMA, expressed his desire to face Adesanya again during a post-fight interview. Despite having a 3-1 record against Adesanya in kickboxing and MMA combined, Pereira seems eager for a rematch. He asserted, "I’m going to make this fight happen. Hey, Adesanya! Come to daddy!"

Adesanya, who has been on a break from competition since losing the UFC middleweight title, responded with a simple message on social media platform 'X' (formerly Twitter): "Let it gooooo." Accompanying his response was an image of Pereira after being knocked out in their previous encounter, with the caption reading, "Lol rent-free… I sleep good."

UFC CEO Dana White weighed in on the potential matchup, favoring former 205-pound champion Jamahal Hill over Adesanya as Pereira's next opponent. White emphasized that Adesanya is now in a weight class below Pereira and suggested that a fight with Hill, when he is ready, makes more sense.

The terse exchange between Adesanya and Pereira, coupled with Dana White's insights, adds intrigue to the unfolding narrative of UFC's light heavyweight division. As fans eagerly await the next moves of these elite fighters, the dynamics of potential matchups promise continued excitement in the MMA world.
