Jannik Sinner withdraws from ABN AMRO Open in Rotterdam

Australian Open champion and current world number one Jannik Sinner (23) has officially withdrawn from the ABN AMRO Open tournament in Rotterdam, Netherlands, following his victory at the season's first Grand Slam.
The Italian athlete made the announcement on the tournament's official website. "After discussions with my team, I faced the tough choice to withdraw from the ABN AMRO Open," Sinner stated.
"My body requires time to recuperate after the extensive competition in Australia.
"I cherish the memories of winning the title in front of an enthusiastic crowd at Rotterdam Ahoy last year and look forward to returning in the future. I wish Richard (Krajicek) and the entire team a successful event."
In addition to Sinner, world number eleven Grigor Dimitrov has also opted out of the tournament due to an injury sustained during the first round of the Australian Open.
