Duran, Ronaldo, and Mane Fire Al-Nassr into AFC Champions League Semi-Finals

Al-Nassr stormed into the AFC Champions League semi-finals with a commanding 4-1 victory over Yokohama F. Marinos on Sunday, powered by a brace from Jhon Duran and goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane.
The Saudi Pro League side dominated from the outset and broke through just before the half-hour mark. Duran capitalized on a defensive error after a low cross from Mane caused chaos in Yokohama’s box. Moments later, Mane doubled Al-Nassr’s lead with a composed finish following a slick passing move involving Ronaldo and Otavio.

Ronaldo then added his name to the scoresheet in the 38th minute, pouncing on a rebound after Marcelo Brozovic’s long-range effort was parried by the goalkeeper.
Duran completed his brace shortly after halftime, reacting quickest to another spilled save to seal a comprehensive win for the visitors. Yokohama pulled one back through Kota Watanabe with a powerful strike from distance, but it was little more than a consolation.
The result sends Al-Nassr into the semi-finals, where they will face either Kawasaki Frontale or Al Sadd. The victory also underlined Duran’s growing influence, with the 21-year-old Colombian forward delivering a clinical performance in front of goal.
Al-Nassr now shifts focus back to domestic action, as they prepare for a crucial Saudi Pro League clash against Al-Ittihad on May 7.
