Jokic's triple-double lifts Nuggets past Rockets

In a triumphant return for Jamal Murray, who scored 16 points after missing 11 games, the Denver Nuggets secured a 134-124 victory against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night.
Nikola Jokic notched his seventh triple-double of the season with 32 points, 15 assists, and 10 rebounds, while Michael Porter Jr. contributed a season-high 30 points.
The Nuggets, without Aaron Gordon, showcased an impressive offensive display with 19 made 3-pointers and 37 assists, emphasizing the impact of Murray's presence.
Coach Michael Malone, acknowledging the significance, termed it a "great outcome" rather than a "great win."
This marked the NBA champion Nuggets' third consecutive win after a challenging period of four losses in five games. The Rockets, led by Jalen Green's 26 points, couldn't overcome Denver's dominance, dropping to 0-7 on the road.
Despite an early ankle scare for Murray, the Nuggets controlled the game, leading by as many as 19 points in the first quarter.
The team now looks ahead to face the Phoenix Suns, while the Rockets prepare for a clash with the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday.
