Joshua Kimmich header sends Bayern past Arsenal and into Champions League semi-finals

Despite Arsenal maintaining possession well amidst the fog created by Bayern supporters' pre-match pyrotechnic display, they couldn't afford to make any mistakes when dealing with Harry Kane. However, Kane missed an opportunity to score early in the game.
As Bayern found their rhythm, it seemed increasingly likely that Kane would surpass Wayne Rooney as the all-time top scorer against Arsenal.
A fantastic one-touch move resulted in Ben White deflecting Noussair Mazraoui's cross just wide of the post, and Jamal Musiala forced a diving save from David Raya with a powerful long-range shot.
Gabriel Martinelli provided a spark for the visitors, causing the game to shift towards the other end of the pitch. Manuel Neuer had to make improvised saves to deny Martin Odegaard, showcasing his excellent initiative.
These chances were just a warm-up for the second half, which began with Leon Goretzka hitting the woodwork with a looping header. Guerreiro then struck the same post with a powerful shot on the rebound.
Bayern continued to push forward, and their efforts paid off as the Allianz Arena erupted in celebration just after the hour mark.
Guerreiro refused to give up on Leroy Sané's cross, sending it back into the box where Joshua Kimmich came charging in to score a bullet header past Raya.
Bayern's pursuit for more goals, reminiscent of their previous victories against Arsenal, was evident as they narrowly missed extending their lead through Sane.
Neuer's save denied Odegaard's attempt, leaving Arsenal's efforts falling short despite their desperate search for an equalizer.
The disappointment of missing out on the Bundesliga title was momentarily forgotten as Bayern now look ahead to a potential trip to Wembley in June.
While Arsenal fans may find little solace in the result, Mikel Arteta can now shift his attention to the Premier League, where hopes of a first title in two decades remain alive.
