Juventus 0-0 AC Milan: Juve and Milan play out bore draw as the battle for second continues

Juventus secured their third consecutive draw in Serie A after a goalless stalemate against AC Milan at the Allianz Stadium, a result that left both teams unsatisfied.

Milan, who had recently suffered defeats against Roma and Inter, were already out of contention for the top spot and were simply looking to finish the season and regroup.

Meanwhile, Juventus, despite their midweek victory in the Coppa Italia, were facing rumors of their coach Massimiliano Allegri's departure amidst a challenging season.

The first half of the match lacked excitement, with few scoring opportunities for either side and both goalkeepers going untested. It felt like a meaningless end-of-season game, with the only notable save coming from Marco Sportiello in stoppage time, denying Dusan Vlahovic's free-kick.

Juventus came out with a more aggressive approach in the second half, putting Sportiello under pressure early on. The Milan goalkeeper made an impressive double save, denying Filip Kostic and then Danilo from close range.

Allegri made substitutions in an attempt to inject some energy into the game, but even the introduction of Federico Chiesa and Arkadiusz Milik couldn't break the deadlock.

Milan failed to create any shots on target and extended their winless streak to five games (L3, D2), remaining five points ahead of Juventus in second place with four matches left to play.
