Juventus 0-1 Udinese: Giannetti the difference as I Bianconeri fall to shock defeat to struggling visitors

Udinese has managed to secure only their third triumph in Serie A this campaign following a surprising 1-0 victory against title-contenders Juventus at the Allianz Stadium. This outcome puts an end to their streak of eight consecutive losses to the Old Lady when playing away matches.
Juventus, who had experienced back-to-back matches without a win for the first time this season, understood the importance of responding positively against their struggling opponents.
Eager to take control from the start, the hosts dominated possession in the opening 20 minutes. However, Federico Chiesa and Timothy Weah missed a couple of promising half-chances for the Bianconeri.
Despite Juventus' early determination, Udinese managed to break the deadlock against the run of play in the 25th minute. Lautaro Giannetti, the center-back, scored from inside the six-yard box after a dangerous delivery by Lazar Samardzic.
This goal ignited the hosts' spirit before halftime, but Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye denied Arkadiusz Milik's close-range header, ensuring Gabriele Cioffi's team remained in the lead at halftime.
The second half followed a similar pattern to the first, with Juventus dominating possession in midfield but struggling to create significant chances in the final third without their injured star player, Dusan Vlahovic.
Nevertheless, Massimiliano Allegri's men persisted in their search for an equalizer. Milik believed he had found one with a well-taken header on the hour mark, but the goal was disallowed as Chiesa's corner was deemed to have gone out of play.
As the final 20 minutes approached, the home supporters expressed their frustration as Juventus seemed to lack ideas in front of goal. Substitute Kenan Yildiz came close to converting a late opportunity from Andrea Cambiaso's delivery, but it proved to be their best chance as the visitors held on to secure a three-point lead over the relegation zone.
Juventus will now be determined to bounce back against Hellas Verona on Saturday, as they continue to fall behind Inter Milan at the top of the Serie A standings.
