Juventus 2-1 Lecce: Juve edge past visitors to stay unbeaten under Igor Tudor in Serie A

Juventus secured a 2-1 victory over struggling Lecce in Serie A on Saturday, with first-half goals from Teun Koopmeiners and Kenan Yildiz keeping new head coach Igor Tudor's unbeaten streak intact.
Koopmeiners opened the scoring just two minutes in, driving the ball low into the far corner after a clever pass from Dusan Vlahovic. Juventus continued their dominance throughout the first half, carving out 18 chances, five of which were on target. Their second goal came in the 33rd minute when 19-year-old Yildiz found the bottom corner, again with Vlahovic playing a pivotal role in the build-up.
“The Serbia striker had an excellent opportunity to make it 3-0 after the break but Lecce goalkeeper Wladimiro Falcone beat him to the ball before the forward could shoot from close range.”
Though Juventus eased off in the second half, Lecce managed to claw one back in the 87th minute with Federico Baschirotto heading in powerfully from a free kick, making for a tense finish at the Allianz Stadium.
With the win, Juventus climbed provisionally to third place on 59 points from 32 matches, one point ahead of Atalanta, who face Bologna on Sunday. Lecce, meanwhile, extended their winless streak to nine games and remain just two points clear of the relegation zone, sitting on 26 points. Their last win came in late January against Parma.
Juventus had previously drawn 1-1 at AS Roma and defeated Genoa 1-0 in their first match under Tudor.
