Layvin Kurzawa set to leave PSG after nine-year spell

Defender Layvin Kurzawa (31) announced on Monday that he will be departing Paris Saint-Germain at the conclusion of the season, following a nine-year tenure with the Ligue 1 club.

Kurzawa made the move to PSG from Monaco in 2015 for a fee of 23 million euros ($24.8 million). Despite featuring in 154 matches for PSG, he only played for eight minutes in a single game during the 2023-24 season.

After being loaned to Premier League side Fulham in the 2022-23 season due to lack of playing time with the French team, Kurzawa appeared in six matches for the English club.

In a post on X, the French international expressed, "I have experienced both highs and lows during my time here. However, I want to emphasize that my affection for Paris Saint-Germain is genuine.

Our relationship may have had its challenges, but I choose to focus on the positive memories and feel privileged to have considered the Parc des Princes my home all these years."
