Leganes 0-3 Real Madrid: Mbappe and Bellingham on target as Los Blancos close in on league leaders

Kylian Mbappe ended his goal drought with a close-range finish, while midfielder Jude Bellingham added a header as Real Madrid defeated Leganes 3-0 on Sunday.
With a game in hand, Real are second in the standings with 30 points, four behind Barcelona, who drew 2-2 with Celta Vigo on Saturday.
Mbappe latched on to Vinicius Jr's through pass and netted after 10 minutes, but his celebration was cut short when the goal was ruled out for offside.
The France international has struggled to find his feet in his debut season with the LaLiga winners, going four games without scoring in all competitions, with his most recent goal coming in a 2-1 victory against Celta Vigo last month.
However, the former Paris St Germain striker scored his sixth league goal of the season, combining with Vinicius to give Real the lead two minutes before halftime after Leganes made a defensive blunder that Bellingham took advantage of.
"We switched the position of the strikers a bit, with Mbappe on the outside and he did well, as did Vinicius on the inside. The team controlled the game very well," said coach Carlo Ancelotti after the match.
Real dominated possession in the second half, leaving goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who had returned to the squad following a muscle injury, with little to do.
Uruguayan midfielder Federico Valverde scored the second goal from a free kick with an incredible long-range strike after Bellingham had been fouled in the 66th minute.
The England international completed the scoring in the 85th minute, heading home after the ball rebounded off the crossbar.
Real will visit Premier League and Champions League leaders Liverpool on Wednesday before playing Getafe in the Spanish top flight four days later.
Leganes are 14th in the standings and will face Alaves on Saturday.
