Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez combine to help Miami hit New York for six

Luis Suarez (37) netted a hat-trick and Lionel Messi (36) contributed with an impressive five assists and a goal in the second half as Inter Miami dominated the New York Red Bulls 6-2 in a Major League Soccer match on Saturday.
Matias Rojas, who scored two goals as a substitute, kickstarted the second half onslaught for the Eastern Conference leaders Inter after New York had a 1-0 lead at halftime.
Miami, without Messi, had suffered a 4-0 loss to the Red Bulls in New York back in March. However, they exacted revenge with a ruthless second-half performance.
Messi's five assists, all in the second half, set a new MLS record for a single game. He now boasts 10 goals and 12 assists in just eight league appearances this season.
Playing behind Suarez, Messi's precise passing and understanding with his former Barcelona teammate overwhelmed the Red Bulls, who were sitting third in the Eastern Conference.
Suarez's hat-trick brings his total to 10 goals in 11 league matches for Miami. Despite losing some speed, his clinical finishing ability remains top-notch.
Although the attacking prowess displayed by Miami was what owners Jorge Mas and David Beckham envisioned when signing the star duo, the first half lacked the same spark.
Dante Vanzeir opened the scoring for the Red Bulls in the 30th minute, capitalizing on a rebound from Wikelman Carmona's shot off the post, following an excellent pass from Emil Forsberg.
Gerardo Martino's Inter seemed lackluster and uninspired in the initial 45 minutes, but a tactical change at halftime turned the tide of the game.
