Lionel Messi's Inter Miami beaten by FC Dallas in pre-season friendly

Lionel Messi and Inter Miami suffered a 1-0 loss against FC Dallas in a pre-season friendly on Monday, prior to embarking on a demanding international tour.
Miami's performance in their recent match against El Salvador was lackluster, resulting in a 0-0 draw. Unfortunately, they continued to disappoint in the wet and cold conditions at the Cotton Bowl Stadium.
Argentine superstar Messi, along with former Barcelona teammates Luis Suarez and Sergio Busquets, were all substituted after 64 minutes when Miami was trailing 1-0.
Despite Messi's efforts on the pitch, including a powerful 30-yard volley that was saved by Dallas goalkeeper Maarten Paes, Miami couldn't find the back of the net. Suarez also had a chance in the first half, but his volley with the outside of his right boot missed the target.
On the other hand, Dallas took the lead early on through Jesus Ferreira's low angled shot into the bottom corner. This match was part of Miami's pre-season friendlies as they prepare for their upcoming MLS season opener against Real Salt Lake on February 21st.
After this game, they will travel to Saudi Arabia to face Al Hilal on January 29th and Al-Nassr on February 1st. The match against Al-Nassr will be particularly exciting as it will see Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo face each other once again.
Miami will then continue their pre-season tour in Asia, playing against a Hong Kong select team on February 4th and Japanese side Vissel Kobe in Tokyo three days later.
Finally, they will return to the United States for their last pre-season game against Argentine squad Newell's Old Boys on February 15th.
