Liverpool 3-0 Nottingham Forest: Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota deliver to keep the Reds on track.

Liverpool were completely dominant in a 3-0 victory over a toothless Nottingham Forest on Sunday. Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez, and Mohamed Salah were on target as the home team extended its unbeaten streak to five games.

Nunez was a constant threat throughout, and he helped get the game going with a shot that Matt Turner could only parry into Jota's path for the game's first goal, who celebrated by holding up the shirt of teammate Luis Diaz, who was absent from the game due to the kidnapping of his parents in Colombia.

The Uruguayan striker was then perfectly placed to deflect Dominik Szoboszlai's sharp, low cross in. Along with Nunez, Hungarian midfielder Szoboszlai was outstanding, creating chances and keeping his team's attacks moving at a fast pace.

Forest had no chance of getting into the game thanks to Jurgen Klopp's team. The hosts controlled the ball for 75 minutes, and the visitors' only real threat came from an Anthony Elanga shot that hit the crossbar in the 86th minute.

Forest ended up putting themselves in danger when Turner's bizarre blunder allowed an otherwise quiet Salah to fire into an open goal for his team's third goal.
