Manchester City Premier League financial regulations hearing will take place next month

A report from The Times indicates that the hearing regarding Manchester City's 115 alleged violations of Premier League financial regulations may be advanced to next month.
According to the publication, the independent commission hearing, originally scheduled for November, is now expected to commence in mid-to-late September. The hearing is anticipated to span a duration of 10 weeks, with a decision likely to be rendered in early 2025.
Neither the Premier League nor Manchester City has issued any comments on the matter.
The Times further noted that the resolution of a separate legal case initiated by City concerning league regulations on sponsorship and revenue agreements with businesses affiliated with their owners is expected within the next two weeks.
This development could facilitate the advancement of the hearing regarding the 115 charges, all of which City refutes, assuming there are no additional legal holdups.
Manchester City, owned by Abu Dhabi interests, is facing allegations of regulatory and financial rule violations occurring between 2009 and 2023.
Should they be found culpable, the club, which achieved an unprecedented fourth consecutive English top-flight title last season, may face penalties including points deductions or even relegation from the Premier League.
